BougeRV 12V 400 Watt Rigid Solar System Kit

Collect solar energy at your off-grid stop and store it for later use. This BougeRV kit combines two rigid bifacial panels with two LiFePO4 batteries, an MPPT charge controller and a pure sine wave inverter as the core of a compatible 12V power system.

Generation, Storage & AC Output

400W solar array: This is the combined listed rating of the two panels, not continuous production or a guaranteed daily energy yield. Actual output varies with sunlight, shade, orientation, temperature and system losses.

Bifacial construction: The panels can collect light from the front and rear. Additional rear-side production depends on reflected light, mounting clearance and surrounding surfaces. The source's claim of up to 25% more energy lacks stated test conditions and is not a guaranteed gain for your installation.

Two 100Ah batteries: Each battery is listed as 12V 100Ah. If the manufacturer approves parallel connection, a properly configured pair would provide a 12V-class 200Ah bank. Verify matching and wiring requirements before connection. Do not connect a series-wired pair to the listed 12V inverter.

2000W inverter: The inverter rating is separate from solar production. Confirm continuous and surge output, AC voltage and frequency, outlet configuration and the battery bank's discharge-current capability before choosing appliances. Loads may consume energy faster than the panels replace it; runtime depends on usable battery energy, load and conversion losses.

Plan a Compatible Installation

Verify the panels' exact voltage version, operating voltage and open-circuit voltage against the controller's input limits and intended array wiring, allowing for cold-weather voltage rise. Controller support for 12V/24V does not make this complete kit a 24V system: the inverter is specified for 12V.

Configure charging for the batteries' specified LiFePO4 limits. Confirm charge and discharge ratings, low-temperature charging restrictions and protection features for the exact battery model.

Check panel dimensions, mounting clearances, battery fit, total installed weight and each component's environmental rating. Follow the component manuals for secure mounting, wiring, cable sizing, fusing, grounding and ventilation, using a qualified installer where appropriate.
