Combine battery-powered AC operation and AC battery charging with the Renogy REGO 3000W 12V Pure Sine Wave High-Frequency Inverter Charger, model RIV1230RCH-SPS. Its compact design and built-in Bluetooth support convenient monitoring for a compatible RV or off-grid power system.

At camp, use your compatible 12V battery system to supply AC loads within the inverter's rating. When suitable shore power is available, use the unit's AC charging and bypass functions according to the installation manual.

Important: Inverter Output vs. Shore-Power Bypass

• Rated inverter power: 3000W. The 6000W bypass figure is not a battery-powered continuous inverter rating.
• Split-phase AC input: Supports North American 120/240V split-phase input.
• 240V output: Available only when supplied by a split-phase 120/240V AC source. Do not purchase this unit expecting standalone 240V output from the battery.
• 120V bypass capacity: The supplied FAQ lists up to 6000W at 50A with 120V AC input in bypass mode, subject to the shore supply, wiring, protection and manufacturer limits. This does not establish grid-export capability.

Monitoring & Operating Modes

The supplied FAQ lists app control of ECO mode, charging current and battery-protection settings. It states that powering the inverter off through the app is not supported.

In UPS mode, the supplied FAQ states that self-consumption is supplied by shore power when available. In battery-priority mode, self-consumption is drawn from the battery.

The product copy also describes low-noise operation, reduced electromagnetic disturbance, rapid response to load changes and neutral-ground management. These features do not replace correct installation, grounding or verification of compatibility with your equipment.

Installation Planning

Match the inverter to a suitable 12V battery bank, battery discharge capability, DC cabling, overcurrent protection, AC supply and intended loads. Have a qualified installer follow the model-specific wiring and grounding instructions. Detailed inverter charging-current limits, dimensions, weight and battery input range were not supplied in the existing listing.
